(Parsippany, New Jersey) – 1 October 2020 – Acrow, a leading international bridge engineering and supply company, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Sunbelt Rental’s panel bridging portfolio.
The acquisition results in the transfer of Sunbelt Rental’s panel bridging assets – including the Mabey Universal and Compact 200 stock – to Acrow ownership, and presents Acrow with the opportunity to service panel bridge rental and purchase requirements with a broader portfolio and inventory of high-quality modular bridging products. The acquired assets, which include both bridges and specialist launching equipment, will be staged locally at Acrow facilities across the US and Canada for ease and speed of deployment.

The addition of these newly acquired panel bridging assets to the Acrow inventory, which already consists of the premium Acrow 700XS®, signifies a substantial increase in stock availability for rent across the US and Canada. The addition of Mabey Bridge to the Acrow Group last year has already increased Acrow’s global footprint in the permanent and temporary modular bridging market, enabling it to offer a more comprehensive suite of solutions worldwide; the increased availability of a broader range of solutions for rent in the US and Canada, underpinned by the technical know-how offered by Acrow’s Mabey Bridge team members, will ensure a smooth transition for existing Sunbelt panel bridging clients and enable Acrow to react quickly, efficiently and knowledgeably to new client requests.
