Acrow Bridge’s Eugene Sobecki Speaks at NATO’s Military Engineering Centre of Excellence Symposium in Ingolstadt, Germany

Discusses conceptual bridging solutions using panel bridge systems

(Parsippany, New Jersey) – 30 November 2016 – Eugene Sobecki, National Sales Manager at Acrow Bridge, a leading international bridge engineering and supply company, was a featured speaker at NATO’s Military Engineering Centre of Excellence (MILENG COE) Bridging Symposium, held November 29, 2016 in Ingolstadt, Germany. The event was part of the MILENG COE’s Information Exchange Seminar 2016.

Mr. Sobecki’s presentation was on Conceptual Bridging Solutions Using Panel Bridge Systems. Acrow’s structures are capable of supporting the newer live load requirements coupled with longer clear spans to meet the 2020 military needs. Other topics discussed during the symposium included current dry-gap and wet-gap bridging concepts, tactical bridges for military and disaster relief solutions, ground mobility solutions and logistic bridging on NATO operations.

“Acrow Bridge has a long history of working with military and civilian partners in providing both temporary and permanent bridging solutions to address time-sensitive infrastructure needs,” said Sobecki. “In addition to ongoing deployment needs, Acrow’s modular steel structures are ideal for use in responding quickly to national emergencies, including natural disasters such as landslides, avalanches, earthquakes and floods. Our components can be quickly transported, assembled, and reused wherever they are needed.”
